Pale straw hue. Brilliant, bright aromas of fresh-cut lemon grass, ginger, passion fruit and slate. Mildly acidic on the front palate, light citrus and stonefruit notes emerge and then give way to ginger and herbal notes on the finish. Impressive texture and mouthfeel lead to a crisp, lingering finish. The minerality of the wine is fused perfectly with its fruit profile, and everything is in balance.

Bright, pale lemon-yellow color. Musky aromas of grapefruit and wild mint, with a suggestion of resiny oak. Then dense, spicy and wild on the palate, with fairly full but brisk flavors of grapefruit pith, smoke and truffley earth. This intriguing, soil-driven wine finishes with a refreshing bitter edge.

Bright and jazzy, with a harmonious feel to the lime, pineapple and floral aromas and flavors, lingering on the citrusy finish. The best of three bottles tasted. Drink now. 2,160 cases imported. -HS
