Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2009 Reserve Merlot Malbec offers notes of ripe blackberries, mulberries and kirsch with an undercurrent of mace, cinnamon stick and dark chocolate. Full bodied with plenty of ripe mulberry and plum flavors, it has a medium level of velvety tannins, refreshing acidity and a long spicy finish. Drink it now through 2015.-Lisa Perrotti-Brown
