70% merlot, 20% cabernet franc and 10% cabernet sauvignon. From the same producer as La Couspaude in St. Emilion. This wine offers sweet cherry, jasmine and violets on the nose, followed by roasted herbs and cinnamon. The palate is medium bodied and quite easy to enjoy, as the tannins and acidity are in check. Should prove to be ready upon release and drink well for the next 5-8 years.
