Vivid yellow-gold. Aromas of peach, melon and honey, with subtle smoke and spice nuances. Broad and juicy, with good depth to its sappy pit fruit flavors. A touch of palate-numbing white pepper adds welcome bite to the long, spicy finish. For all this wine's richness I find it impressively lively and precise, in the style of the vintage.
