Displays a pale golden color throughout. Tropical aromas of pineapple, quince, marmalade, and guava on the nose along with a touch of match-stick and vanilla as well. Rich and round in the mouth with flavors that include Meyer lemon, tangerine peel, and fresh wood. Nice minerality and a long, persistent finish. This should be at its best over the next 5-10 years. Well done.

An interesting mix of citrus fruit and vanilla follow through to a full bodied white this is fresh and round.

46% Sémillon, 54% Sauvignon Blanc. Slightly more yellow than La Mission but still greenish gold. Broad and honeyed on the nose (the Haut-Brion whites always prove supremacy of terroir over variety). Massive and broad and pungent. SO far from New Zealand! A bit less distinctive than the La Mission Blanc 2010 but a great wine. 18.5 out of 20

Tasted twice with consistent notes, the Haut-Bergey Blanc has a lovely fresh nose of lime flower, grapefruit and lees. Good definition and vibrancy here. The palate is well balanced with good mineralité, a nice fatness in the middle with a fresh, joyful finish. Impressive.

Smoky citrus, hazelnuts, grapefruit and lemon zest jump from the glass of this complex, relatively evolved dry white grave. Medium-bodied, very classy, and nicely concentrated, this fresh well-focused wine should be drunk between now and 2028. -Robert Parker

Pale straw. Clean floral nose offers hints of beeswax, white peach and gooseberry, complicated by passion fruit and melon. Bright and energetic on entry, with a strong lemony nuance to the gooseberry and peach flavors. Finishes long and clean, but with mounting, oak-derived tannins.

Fresh, citrus and spicy pear flavors, a wine laced with acidity, a crisp texture and elegant bright aftertaste.

A bright, floral style, with high-pitched meringue, lemon zest and white asparagus notes that glide through a honeysuckle-filled finish. Pure and very pretty. Drink now through 2015. -JM
