About Winery

After more than 10 years devoted exclusively to white wine  production, Jacky Blot decided to venture into  Cabernet Franc production. He purchased Domaine de La Butte in 2002. Located in the Touraine district on the right bank of the Loire River, the estate's Cabernet Franc vines, with an average age of nearly 40 years, are cultivated in two soil types: tuffeau limestone and sand mixed with gravel.
