Attractive fruit in this delicious young wine, with full body, soft tannins and a tasty finish.
Jeff Leve, TheWineCellarInsider.com, April 2011
Blending 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, this is a solid, easy drinking plummy wine.
Neal Martin's Wine Journal, April 2011
The Siaurac '10 has a pleasant, slightly tertiary bouquet with touches of warm gravel complementing the black fruits. The palate is underpinned by very smooth, saturated tannins, a gentle but insistent grip. It could do with a little more stuffing towards the finish but it maintains fine delineation.
Neil Mechanic, JJ Buckley, April 2011
80% merlot and 20% cabernet franc. Only 25% of the final blend is aged in new oak. Aromas of cassis, crushed rock, cracked pepper and baker's chocolate fill the nose. On the palate, leather, olive and fruit cake reveal themselves, leading to a mouthwatering finish, due to the high acidity. But matched with a substantial fruit core, the wine stays in balance, and vanilla and cedar spice round out the finish. Drink 2017-2025. Tasted twice.
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, May 2011
2010: Possibly a sleeper of the vintage, the 2010 Siaurac offers an attractive, elegant bouquet of black cherries, plums, vanilla and earth. Medium-bodied with good acids, definition and depth, it should drink well for 4-5 years.

A very fleshy red, offering layers of succulent plum, blackberry and black currant fruit, with spice and licorice in reserve for now. Shows the tannic backbone of the vintage, with noticeable grip on the finish. -J.M.
