A notably ripe orchard fruit nose also displays subtle spice notes on the classic honeysuckle and citrus blossom aromas that slide seamlessly into textured, silky and lightly mineral-inflected flavors that possess terrific depth and outstanding length on the mouth coating finish. This is very classy and refined. - Comments: Sweet spot Outstanding ♥

All of the best qualities of the vintage come through in the 2010 Puligny-Montrachet Pucelles. The 2010 boasts stunning depth and definition. Smoke, slate, ripe stone peaches and butter burst from the glass as this vivid, kaleidoscopic wine shows off its pedigree. In 2010, the Pucelles is simply explosive. Ideally, it needs a few years to settle down, but it is hugely impressive, even today. The endless finish leaves a lasting impression. Anticipated maturity: 2015+. 94+

Pale, bright yellow. Sexy aromas of lemon, wild herbs, wildflowers and honey. Silky and very intense, with a petrolly minerality enriching and energizing the middle palate. Elegant and seamless in the middle, then quite gripping on the rising back end, with a hint of tannins that stimulate the salivary glands.
