Deep purple-crimson; a medium- to full-bodied wine awash with red and black fruit, principally cherry, abundant ripe tannins and enough oak; has balance and length.

A more cool climatic expression of Shiraz despite its origins, yet pulls it off with aplomb. Some grippy tannins give the wine a pliancy and good astringency. This wine relies less on oak, as with certain wines. Drink now and over the next eight years. Screwcap.

It's not the deepest or most profound shiraz on the market but it hits the sweet spot bang on. It tastes of sawdusty oak, black cherries, blackberries and fresh, boysenberry-like fruit. Excellent freshness to this wine. It's buoyant and succulent. Easy to recommend. Value lives here.
