Deep purple core with a lighter rim. Big and bold on the nose, with dark fruit complemented by notes of cedar, earth, minerality, and a touch of forest floor. The black fruit on the palate is supported by dense, dry tannins that bring forth light herbal notes and a touch of sweetness on the finish. Still quite big, it will benefit greatly from a few years in the bottle.
