80% semillon, 20% sauvignon blanc. Vines are planted on mixed clay gravel soils atop limestone bedrock. Barrel fermented, then aged in a combination of 66% new and 33% one-year-old oak. A deep gold color, this shows ripe pineapple, apricot, and peach aromas, with accents of mango and coconut. This is large in scale on the palate with powerful ripe stone fruits, and marmalade, quince paste, and ginger spice on the finish. Nice acidity keeps the richness this in check. Drink now through 2025.

Intense botrytis character with dried oranges and lemons that follow through to a full body, with medium sweetness and an intense finish.

The Chateau d'Arche has a seductive bouquet that opens teasingly with each swirl of the glass, with pure aromas of honey, quince and a tang of marmalade. The palate has a vibrant, racy opening with superb acidity that has more energy than it knows what to do with! It is threaded through with pure citrus fruits complemented by apricot and white peach that leads to a defined the crisp, focused, tensile finish. This is an impressive Chateau d'Arche. Drink 2015-2030.

Dark yellow-gold. Aromas of white flowers, peach nectar, mirabelle and nutmeg are complicated by spicy botrytis. Spicy and rich on the palate, with viscous if not overly complex flavors of candied stone fruits and ginger. The finishing peach and spice flavors linger impressively, showing a smoky nuance.

An impressive wine that has weight and intense botrytis notes. Its acidity gives a delicious lift to its powerful flavors of yellow fruits, tangerines and light wood spices.

A gutsy, powerful style, offering lots of apricot, dried mango and peach flavors, with a richly layered finish of toasted almond, bitter orange and quince paste.-J.M.
