63% merlot, 20% cabernet sauvignon, 10% petit verdot, and 7% carmenere. Winemakers are Alain and Pauline Vauthier of Ausone fame. Fragrant and elegant on the nose with notes of blackberry, raspberry, blueberry, and violet. It continues to show off its youthfulness on the palate, with fresh fruit over a silky, delicate structure. Lovely right out of the gate, but lacks real substance. Enjoy on release and over the next 5-7 years.
