Pale, green-tinged yellow. Pungent aromas of lime zest, white flowers and mint. Spicy and pungent on the palate, with a nicely restrained sweetness to the chewy flavors of citrus pith, tarragon and licorice. The floral quality comes back on the taut, focused, very long finish.

About Winery

Doug Margerum and his family opened Wine Cask wine store and restaurant in 1981. Wine Cask quickly became a destination of choice in Santa Barbara among food and wine cognoscenti.

In 2001 Doug started Margerum Wine Company producing small lots of Santa Barbara County Syrah, Sauvignon Blanc, and Pinot Gris. After selling the Wine Cask in June of 2007 he now devotes all of his energies to the production and promotion of Margerum wines.
