An airy, cool and restrained nose is more elegant if less complex with its essence of red pinot fruit, kirsch and the same wet stone nuances. The palate impression of the middle weight flavors is ultra-fine as the underlying tannins are exceptionally well-integrated, all wrapped in a balanced saline-infused finish. This is one of those wines that you just feel like drinking, not only because it's delicious but also because it has something interesting to say. An understated wine of finesse that doesn't lack for personality or character. - Comments: Outstanding ♥

Good deep red with a ruby tinge. Silky on entry, then sweet and penetrating in the middle palate, with cherry and redcurrant fruit flavors lifted by spices. Very long and subtle on the back end, with nicely enrobed tannins saturating the entire palate and giving the wine plenty of structure for a graceful evolution in bottle. A step up in sweetness from the foregoing samples. 91+
