This is classic New Zealand sauvignon blanc. Pale gold with a slight tinge of green highlights. The bouquet is highly intense, showing gooseberry, star fruit, grapefruit, honeydew, candied lemon and lime peel, a hint of jalapeno pepper spice and white flowers. The palate has good texture and a flinty underlying minerality. Bright acidity keeps a nice balance between the fruit. Drink now, or continue to hold for 2-4 years.

Wonderful finish to this wine with a full-blown Pouilly-Fume aniseed and lemon rind character. Full and flavorful. Drink now. Ten percent barrel fermented with natural yeast and old barrels. Screw cap.

Extremely aromatic, with honeysuckle, lemongrass and lemon zest notes up front, followed by equally powerful lemon, tangerine and nectarine flavors. Everything comes together on a smooth, supple and light body, revealing plenty of juicy highlights. Drink now. — M.W.
