A cool, pure and restrained nose features strikingly complex aromas of cherry, raspberry, strawberry and yeast. The delicious, exuberant and beautifully vibrant flavors possess a foamy mousse with an admirably fine bead, all wrapped in a lilting and equally complex finish. This is a knockout rosé and highly recommended and while it's not cheap it can easily hold its own with notably more costly examples.

The NV Brut Rose Premier Cuvee is an effortless, gracious wine. The fruit shows lovely depth and richness in a style that captures the essence of the Paillard house style. A persistent vein of minerality frames the long, beautifully articulated finish. Disgorged December 2010. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2015. -- Antonio Galloni

(disgorged April, 2011; Lot R62H1P7) Pale orange-pink. Spicy, floral-accented aromas of strawberry, cherry and blood orange, with a bright mineral overtone. Dense but vibrant, with excellent focus to its red berry and floral flavors. An elegant, precise pink Champagne that finishes with outstanding energy and length.

A rosa rugosa scent melds with hints of green tea in the deep red fruitiness of this rosé. It’s both floral and rooty, lacy and formidable, its bubbles glimmering through the flavors like light through red stained glass.

A crisp rosé, with a light chalkiness to the texture, showing flavors of ripe apple, toasted almond, yellow plum and crystallized honey. Offers a floral, lightly smoky finish. Disgorged March 2011. Drink now through 2015. –AN
