Wine Spectator: Shows a perfumy, sandalwood edge, with plush plum, earth and lilac notes that all glide through the dusty-edged finish.-J.M.

James Suckling: Intensely grapey on the nose. Full body, with chewy tannins and a medium finish. Solid core of fruit. Very Cabernet Sauvignon. Not quite at the level of 2009 for me.

Wine Enthusiast: This wine is tight and taut, with minerality. Its fruit is heavily citrusy, with a character that cuts like steel through the nervy texture. This shows aging potential.

Wine Spectator: Supple, fleshy, rounded feel, with caressing plum, roasted tobacco and mulled spice all nicely integrated already. Gentle but lingering finish.-J.M.
