The environment today is experiencing an onslaught of carbon emissions from a myriad of polluting in our global community. Every citizen and business is feeling the effects, and everyone also has to do their part in solving the problem.

JJ Buckley Fine Wines is no exception. In addition to offsetting our carbon emissions, we felt we needed to address the problem of environmentally harmful packaging material. In partnership with Heritage Paper and Fagerdala World Foams, we are now using environmentally friendly packaging styrofoam. Fagerdala World Foams, based in Stockholm, Sweden, has developed styrofoam called EnviroFoam made from 100% recycled Polystyrene that reduces the carbon footprint every step of the way.

The new foam is extremely lightweight, keeping fuel costs and emissions low
Fagerdala developed its own supply of raw materials to produce a "green" EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) foam
EnviroFoam is made from 100% recyled Polystyrene
It is easily recyclable after use, creating a closed loop recycling scenario
It retains all of the advantages of standard styrofoam, such as temperature control and breakage protection, while being drastically better for the environment

We are pleased to be able to use this special product in our shipments, allowing us to do our part in ensuring a "greener" future for the coming generations of wine drinkers.

JJ Buckley is also carbon neutral.
