Opaque ruby core, lighter rim. Fresh cherry and raspberry fruit up front complimented by subtle aromas of licorice and freshly picked plums. Some woody aromas round out the nose nicely. Soft upon entry then fleshes out into something promising. Lots of fruit throughout with low but round and integrated tannin. A note of espresso presents itself on the moderate finish. Nicely made wine!
