The 2005 Celia Vizcarra spent 18 months in 500-liter French oak. Deeper in color and a bit more fragrant its superb aromatics are followed by an intense layered plush wine with tons of spicy fruit hidden tannin and 6-8 years of cellaring potential. This top-notch effort will be at its finest between 2015 and 2035.Vizcarra Ramos was founded by Juan Carlos Vizcarra in 1991. The estate owns 64 acres of Tempranillo vineyard most of it 30 years of age with a small amount of 80 years old vines.
