The Mas Blanc 2006 Banyuls Rimage La Coume (which incorporates a bit of Grenache Gris with its Grenache Noir) smells and tastes of cherry and black raspberry liqueur tinged with vanilla mint and cinnamon. Richly-textured long and soothing yet mingled with persistent primary juiciness of fresh fruit this also displays an alkaline saline side that adds welcome contrast to its sweetness and a sense of invigoration for all of the wine's plush texture. It should remain delightful for at least 5-7 years.
