Domaine Alfred so successful with its wines to date has new owners and a new name. No reason to expect any change in quality as the vineyard source is now the winery's title and as this bottling shows the wine is still the wine. With scents of black cherries boysenberry and hints of chalk leading to flavors that are rich if a bit tight at this point this one will want a few years in the cellar.
