The 2007 Syrah Pisoni Vineyard-Susan's Hill which comes from an upper ridge of the Pisoni Vineyard. The most backward of this quartet about one-third whole clusters/stems are utilized. The result is a full-bodied inky/blue/purple-colored Syrah offering up sweet aromas of creosote/charcoal barbecue spice blackberries boysenberries licorice and a hint of lavender. Possessing a superb texture full-bodied opulence and a long 45+ second finish it should drink well for 5-6 years and may evolve for a decade or more. Time will tell.
