A discreet soupçon of pain grillé highlights ripe yet restrained airy and gorgeously pure white flower lemon and orange peel notes that are followed by acceptably complex round and intense flavors that possess much better than average detail on the minerally and solidly persistent finish. There is sufficient mid-palate fat to allow this to drink well young but it should age well too and like the Clos des Mouches if it can add depth in bottle my score may be a bit too conservative.
