A big-time sleeper of the vintage this equal-part blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc has put on weight since I tasted it from barrel. It displays wonderfully sumptuous blueberry and black raspberry fruit hints of underbrush and forest floor a rich broad medium to full-bodied mouthfeel silky tannins and a surprisingly long finish. This is one of the most reasonably priced wines of St.-Emilion so enjoy it over the next 7-8 years.
