Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, June 2013

The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon and 13% Merlot that spent 20 months in 67% new French oak. Classic Cabernet on the nose, with gorgeous creme de cassis, raspberry ganache, lead pencil...

Wine Enthusiast, July 2013

This is a heavy-duty Cabernet, big in every way, with rich black cherry and cassis fruit, and dense, dark tannins. The long, slightly grainy finish reinforces the impression of raw power, yet the wine retains perfect...

Wine Spectator, September 2013

Owning a winery was been a longtime aspiration of Drew Bledsoe, a former NFL quarterback, since it would allow him to combine his passion for fine wine and love of the Walla Walla Valley. Returning to his hometown in 2007, he planted his estate vineyard, McQueen, in SeVein Vineyards of Distinction. The following year, he launched Doubleback, an estate-focused winery, to produce ultra-premium Cabernet Sauvignon from the Walla Walla Valley. It has since received numerous accolades including a spot on the Wine Spectator’s Top 100 list.

The estate’s McQueen Vineyard spans 50 acres, planted to 14.4 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Malbec. Acquired in 2011, the Bob Healy Vineyard is planted to 9.7 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec.

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Malbec made from estate-grown and sourced fruit, Doubleback Cabernet Sauvignon is aged in 75% new French oak and 25% second fill French oak barrels for 22 months.
