Here the nose is much more deeply pitched and while less elegant it is every bit as complex. There is good power to the relatively rich and muscular flavors that terminate in an austere and borderline angular finish that is underpinned by very firm but not hard tannins. Unlike several of the other wines in the range that will be approachable young this will require several years of cellar time before it becomes more civilized.
