Ripe, rich and velvety, this wine shows no lack of restraint. The black cherry, herb and mushroom shadings aren’t shy at all, and this full-bodied wine finishes long and warm. Drink now–2018.

Pale ruby in color, the 2010 Moutere Pinot Noir displays a very earthy almost steely nose with notes of wet pebbles and black earth hovering over a core of cranberries, dried herbs and truffles. Medium-bodied and very elegant, it offers silky tannins and a long, harmonious finish. - LPB

A ripe, fresh and relatively deeply pitched nose features notes of plum, dark berries and subtle spice elements. There is good punch and detail to the round and pure medium-bodied flavors that possess a generous, even lush mouth feel, all wrapped in a solidly persistent and complex finish. This is sufficiently forward that it could be enjoyed now but there is considerable upside development potential and I would thus advise waiting for a few years first.
