Crimson-purple; has everything you could wish for everything in its right place everything in balance: expressive blackberry/black cherry fruit; some regional earth and spice; and ripe balanced tannins to carry it through the coming decades.

Aromas of black plums red cherry cloves and earth. A pluming entry to a wine that shows soft smoothly polished tannins amongst a wash of cranberry sour/sweetness and savoury spice. Finishes flighty with prickly acidity and a lingering fruitiness. Long well formed and with just enough savoury complexity to carry a lilt of sweetness through the wine this is a very good example of medium weight Hunter shiraz.
