A weightier, richer effort that still plays in the vintage, mid-weight spectrum, the 2011 Pinot Noir Garys' Vineyard has beautiful currant and blackberry fruit, spice, wild herbs and hints of meatiness all emerging from the glass. Rich and mouth-filling on the palate, with upfront fruit, good underlying structure and a clean finish, it will be better in another year or two and have a 3-4 years drink window after that. Drink 2014-2018.- JD
