Decanter, 92 points: Sweet, ripe, dashing nose of red fruits and discreet oak. Rich but lively, its ripeness is cut by the fine acidity that also gives persistence. The oak is scarcely detectable; the finish vibrant and long.

First time buyer. I was looking at Bordeaux and Brunello di Montalcino, and found a ton of quality wines at good prices from both regions. I briefly checked out the Rhone offerings, and they looked good as well. I'd definitely recommend JJ Buckley if you are looking for higher-end stuff.
