The nose is dominated by intense black tea leaf currant juicy red cherry cinnamon and tobacco. More tertiary notes come out on the palate with flavors of dried orange peel strawberry cedar and red licorice supported by a very pure and luxurious texture. Carrying through with a lengthy finish this is a beautifully evolved and graceful right bank red that is at a great place in its life-cycle. Tasted from magnum.
