Stagland's 1992 Cabernet Sauvignon is at least excellent, possibly outstanding. This dark ruby/purple-colored, medium-bodied, finesse-styled Cabernet appears reticent and extremely tight and backward, but with airing it reveals a subtle yet attractive nose of cedar, spice, herbs, and cassis, excellent richness, an impressive sense of balance, and a beautifully knit, stylish finish.
