The first impression is of a more herbal and vegetal style of vintage, plenty of sage, paprika and bell pepper, some bracken and undergrowth, fruit spice builds nicely, the oak adding to that. The palate has supple and smooth tannins with impressive acid crunch and tang, lively cut throughout, finishing fresh. Drink in 2015.
