La Louviere is one of Pessac-Leognan's up and coming stars for both red and white wines. The 1994 one of the sleepers of the vintage is well worth buying. Its deep ruby/purple color and smoky black currant herb-tinged nose are provocative. It is rich powerful and dense with moderate tannin excellent to outstanding concentration and admirable purity. This is an impressively-endowed wine for drinking between 2000-2012. Last tasted 3/96</P>
