This is undoubtedly the finest Bon Pasteur since the 1990. The wine offers a saturated ruby/purple color and an attractive smoky ripe berry-scented nose with notions of vanilla and spice. Sweet dense and layered with medium to full body pure black cherry fruit low acidity and moderate tannin this beefy chewy wine requires 4-5 years of cellaring; it will keep for 15+ years.
