The 1996 Shiraz Creek Block exhibits a dense purple color and a spectacular nose of roasted coffee intermixed with cassis blackberries licorice and spice. The wine displays amazing ripeness an unctuous texture full-bodied palate and a finish that lasts for 45+ seconds. Its high alcohol and tannin are nearly concealed by the wine's amazing concentration. There are 100 cases of the Creek Block. The wine is made from 60-year old Shiraz having 15.8% alcohol.
