The 1999 Gran Cuvee Pas Opere reveals more advanced honey roasted nuts and brioche. This medium to full-bodied wine offers awesome purity in a creamy-textured style with terrific balance and plenty of personality. As delicious as this is today I can't help think that another year or two are needed for the wine to offer the fullest range of its expression. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2019.
