The 1999 Riesling Schlossberg Cuvee Sainte Catherine l'Inedit! has a sumptuous liquid mineral-laced nose. This wine has superb concentration richness depth and length. Layers of candied apples poached pears spices and bergamots (the pear-shaped orange that is used to flavor Earl Grey tea) are found throughout this gem's character. Its sultry quinine-infused finish appears dry yet conceals 21 grams of residual sugar. Projected maturity: 2005-2015.
