Probably the finest Carbonnieux I have tasted in over three decades this deep ruby/purple-colored offering reveals complex aromas of black cherries currants tobacco soy and earth. Medium-bodied with gorgeous purity more glycerin and depth than usual and subtle toasty oak in the background this is a beautiful example of refinement and breeding.
