The 2001 Chardonnay Nuthouse was a blend of Knudsen and Stoller Vineyard. At 13 years of age it has an attractive, rather minty bouquet with lemon thyme and light resinous scents that are well defined and still fresh. The palate is well balanced with a pleasant fatness in the mouth that has maintained its "presence." It's not a complex Chardonnay, but it continues to offer pleasure. - Neal Martin
