Its saturated ruby/purple color is accompanied by sweet aromas of tobacco leaf intermixed with candied black currants blackberries and licorice. A classically structured full-bodied red with high tannin but equally impressive levels of extract as well as concentration this pure beautifully proportioned 2001 will require patience.
