A beautiful success for a right bank 2002, the dedication and perfectionism of the Perses is evident in this medium to full-bodied, deep ruby/purple-tinged offering. Sweet aromas of mocha, black cherries, cassis, and plums are followed by a silky-textured claret to enjoy over the next 7-8 years. Yields were a low 20 hectoliters per hectare. - Robert Parker
