The nose here is deeper, richer and equally complex if not necessarily more elegant than that of the Caillerets followed by delicious and remarkably fine middle weight flavors that are rather feminine in style all wrapped in an incredibly long finish. The tannins are abundant and ripe yet very refined and this is a positively gorgeous wine that is a classic Volnay in character and balance. 2009+ Outstanding ♥
