Then wonderfully sweet and seamless with superb inner-palate energy. Flavors of wild red fruits mulch and wild herbs are like an essence of this grand cru site. Extremely long and subtle on the back finishing with superb grip and sappiness.

Intense red cherry aromas are intermingled with spices violets and kirsch in the nose of the medium ruby-colored 2002 Clos de la Roche. Armed with superb ripeness of fruit impressive depth vibrancy and complexity this gorgeously detailed wine coats the palate with layers of cherries raspberries earth and sweet minerals that linger throughout its prolonged finish. This medium-bodied offering is classy harmonious and reveals loads of exceptionally well-ripened tannin. Projected maturity: 2006-2016.
