The 2002 Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru has a wonderful nose with citrus lemon, linseed and crushed stone, vivacious and barely showing any indication that it is already two decades "young". The palate is cohesive and vibrant with bitter lemon and pear, building and fanning out with style toward its weighty and concentrated finish. What a fantastic showing.
