This very structured wine is dry in the Laurent-Perrier house style. Crunchy green apples are supported by richness and a complex texture. With nine years in the cellar it has already gained some maturity but needs aging... This very structured wine is dry in the Laurent-Perrier house style. A bright mineral-driven Champagne that offers a creamy mousse and flavors of green pear anise spiced nut and candied lemon zest. A note of sweet smoke lingers on the moderate finish. Drink now through 2016. -AN

A fragrant zesty and powerful wine this has the concentration of the vintage with tart peach and lemon pith flavor. Acidity balances the roundness of the dosage creating layers of flavor and pointing up the complex spice... Golden straw in color with a persistent yet subtle bead. Aromas of roasted nuts form the foundation of the bouquet and are supplemented with spicy dried lemon and spearmint notes and the barest hint of fresh mushroom. The palate starts with a subtle entry and builds towards a light to medium weighted midpalate and then tapers off to a finish which mimics the attack. With the structure of the flavors being somewhat notes of toasted brioche and understated citrus are highlighted. Tightly wound at this point a few years under cork should see this bottling gain richness and texture. L4303290Q
