Once again a sleeper of the vintage this St.-Emilion made by perfectionist Alain Vauthier (proprietor of Ausone) reveals a character not unlike Ausone. It lacks only the majesty and completeness of that extraordinary wine. The Moulin St.-Georges exhibits an inky ruby/purple color along with a gorgeous perfume recalling a liqueur of crushed stones intermixed with white flowers black currants and a hint of raspberries. The excellent texture terrific purity and undeniable elegance as well as overall harmony suggest it is best drunk between 2005-2015.
