The finest I've ever produced was how Bertrand Ambroise described his magnificent 2002 Corton Le Rognet. Cassis blackberries and toast are found in its sweet aromas. Hugely powerful and robust this medium to full-bodied wine has awesome power density depth and concentration. Mouth-staining it conquers the palate with spicy black currants blackberries tar and licorice. This highly structured ripe tannin-packed wine should easily stand the test of time.
