It boasts a deep ruby/purple hue as well as aromas of cedar black currants sweet cherries licorice and smoky oak. Medium to full-bodied authoritatively flavored elegant and impressively long with a velvety texture it is already delicious and evolved but should drink well for at least another 12-14 years.

Cool dark fruit flavors emphasize the black currant of cabernet sauvignon then the finish turns warmer toward pipe tobacco and cherry jam flavors. This is a rich and succulent red for grilled beef.
